Languages

In The Language Club Sprachschule we offer you: English, Spanish, German, Italian and French. Our teachers will not only help you with the language but also introduce you to the culture. Every course is personalised, so you can learn every aspect of the language in which you are interested, like food, history, art, trips, festivals, etc.

Physiological studies have found that speaking two or more languages is a great advantage for the cognitive process. The brains of bilingual people operate differently than single language speakers, and these differences offer several mental benefits.

English:

English is an international language. You can use it to communicate with people all over the world. There is no need to say that it is important to travel to any country with freedom and self-confidence. English is also spoken in most of the multinational companies and in many national companies with partners and/or clients overseas.

Spanish:

It is estimated that more than 437 million people speak Spanish as a native language, which qualifies it as second in the list of languages by number of native speakers.

Spanish is one of the world's most phonetic languages. If you know how a word is spelled, you can almost always know how it is pronounced (although the reverse isn't true). The main exception is recent words of foreign origin, which usually retain their original spelling.

German:

Being the most spoken official language in Switzerland, and the most widely spoken native language in Europe, learning German has only advantages.

It is the most important language if you live in the German speaking part of Switzerland or you are planning to move to Germany, Austria or Liechtenstein. Besides the obvious advantages for everyday communication, master this language will let you enjoy pieces of art, music, literature and philosophy (Goethe, Mozart, Kafka, Bach or Beethoven) in their original language.

Italian:

Italian is the most studied language in the world for culture and pleasure!

Italy is the culinary leader of the world and the increased popularity of the language reflects the growing obsession with Italian food.

Study art history in the land that inspired Michelangelo. Read La Divina Commedia in the words of Dante.  Walk the streets where Archimedes ran naked shouting Eureka…

French:

French is a wonderful language for many worthwhile reasons.

French is spoken on five different continents, and is the sixth most widely spoken language in the world. It’s also the third most widely used language on the Internet. That means French is in demand.

French cuisine is filled with tasty treats: croissants, pastries, tarts, baguettes, cheese, wine, crepes, macarons… Learning French means you have an excuse to sample the goods! And, you’ll be able to pronounce the dish correctly.
